The Main Gnome Menu icon can be changed with whatever you want with some simple steps.

If you can not see the configuration editor part in the system firstly enable it from the edit menus part.

After enabling, go to the program

–>apps

–>panel

–>objects

–>object_0

–>Click use_custom_icon

–>Go to custom_icon and edit key for ex; enter the lines;

/usr/share/pixmaps/gnome-logo-icon-transparent.png

Or as i said you can use whatever you like i prefer 24*24 icons.
